In recent years, the relationship between farmer and chef has become increasingly important. Cooks and diners have greater interest in where their food is coming from. Here at Meriwether's, we have spent the last four and a half years shortening the distance between field and table by operating our own 5 acre vegetable farm at the apex of Skyline Boulevard, right here in Portland. We have just completed our second full harvest, and with great results. Throughout the 2012 harvest the restaurant has served over 15,000 pounds of Skyline Farm produce. From our farm to your table.
